Autel MaxiPro MP900BT / MP900Z-BT

I first bought the 800 series and really liked the interface but found it didn't support bi-directional controls.For me that was a deal breaker, I found that the 900 series did, I got the MS906BT and am very happy.Not only does it support MANY more features it also has a Bluetooth interface, I didn't realize just how nice that would be having had a cable connected scanner for the past 20 years. Only negative is it is a little slow when scanning the modules for the first time but over all I believe it is a great tool for the price.

Scans all vehicle systems, great for working on a variety of makes and models.Good for the advanced diy-er.You can code things in your vehicle like turning on and off the daylight running lights, features in the instrument cluster, blinker 3 times to pass or 1 time and others depending on the make and model.Would def recommend.The 908 only benefit is a larger screen and comes with the programming module, which you need to pay to use for each vehicle you program.

A very involved piece of equipment. The more you learn about its capability, the more you'll gain from it.I deeply commend the Tech support. They are very knowledgeable, and allowed to spend valued time with their customer to attain the repair/service goal.Glad I bought it, but plenty to learn.

Very easy to use and much more functionality than even the description states. Constant updates to software and abilities. Was able to retrain systems as you replace them. Customer service can tell you specifics if you are looking for vehicle coverage and features. I was able to retain a new transmission in seconds and worked perfect. Very simple and straight forward. You can even send off your readings for live support if needed.

In researching tools to aid in the diagnosis of non-working air conditioning in one of our cars, I came across the Autel Maxisys line of scanners. The bi-directional capability facilitates the diagnosis of auto issues (e.g., turn on AC compressor clutch from within the scanner) in so many areas required when repairing vehicles. There is simply an incredible diagnostic capability with this tool and for a large variety of vehicles. I opted for a Bluetooth model (MS906BT), which eliminates the need to be tethered with a cord. The accompanying computer software allows sharing of diagnostic and other data with a laptop (e.g., for printing a detailed diagnostics report on a vehicle). The Autel Maxisys MS906BT is a very powerful and useful tool in auto diagnostics and repair.
