Autel MaxiTPMS TS508WF / TS508 WF

I purchased this Autel TS508 to allow me to clone TPMS sensors on a second set of rims/tires. I have a Subaru and rotate between wheels that have snow tires for use in the winter with a set of rims with my normal all-season tires for warmer weather. I found tool to be very easy to use. I was able to read the HEX codes for my existing tpms sensors and to then clone new Autel tpms sensors for my new wheels. I am very happy with this tool and would recommend this for anyone wanting to save some expense on new tpms sensors or tpms sensor replacement.

It took a little trial and error to get the new sensors in activation mode but once I did the programming was simple. A little piece of advice would be to program the replacement sensors before swapping them out or hang onto the old ones. The tire shop that installed my sensors threw away the old ones before I could get the new ones programmed. But it was no problem for the Aurelio, just plugged it into the port and downloaded the old sensor information swapped it for the new ones and uploaded back to the vehicle

I've had aftermarket sensor installed on my 2007 RX400h. One of the new sensors died. I wanted to be able to troubleshoot w/o having to bring it to the shop. Updating via wi-fi was simple to get the latest firmware. Reading the sensors is a bit more difficult. I need to try more settings. I was able to read 2 of the 4 tires. On another vehicle with OEM sensors, it worked as intended. I believe I have the wrong settings and would recommend this product.

Product delivered well packaged and delivered on time. Comes in a nice hard plastic protective case. Initial use was a little bit wonky but after consulting the instruction manual again the light bulb went off and all problems resolved. I was having problems with slow leaks (reduced tire pressure) and TPMS sensors incorrectly reporting on the dashboard. After use, TPMS sensors reported correctly and tires needed new tire stems to solve slow air leaks. Somewhat pricey for what it does but compared to bringing my truck to the dealership it pays for itself in a single-use. Great for people who want to know what the problem is before going to the mechanic to prevent being overcharged for "a known problem".

I have a new model 2022 Subaru BRZ, the sister to the Toyota GR86. According to many other owners on enthusiast forums, most existing TPMS tools cannot program to these cars. However, the Autel TS508 can do it! It's really quite fast and easy to use. One tip if you do not have a spare tire or if your spare tire has no sensor: after you scan your four tires with sensors, move the cursor to the spare tire position and just press scan and then cancel. This will register that there is no spare tire sensor. At this point, the tool will ask you to plug into the OBD II port to initiate writing the TPMS ID numbers to the vehicle. Works perfectly!
